CREATIVITY & SERVICE: BASS LESSONS

To help my youth group out I decided to offer my music talents as we were pretty short on musicians. So I volunteered myself to provide bass lessons for those who were interested. For awhile now, since my own sensei left, my proactive learning has been stagnant so taking up this role allowed me to be knowledgeable and a thinker once again as I was made to prepare lessons, and teach my students to a more deeper level as they progressed greatly at a insanely rapid rate.

Furthermore this experience taught me to be caring and principled towards my commitment. Offering my service made me accountable and therefore keeping to this commitment every week. Also being committed taught me how to be more caring as it allowed me to share my knowledge and contribute to the learning of the next generation.
